Leadership / Background

Adrian Timmers, PhD

Adrian brings more than 20 years of experience in gene therapy research and leadership, with extensive expertise in ocular gene therapy and inherited retinal diseases. His background includes senior roles at SpliceBio, Editas Medicine, and AGTC, spanning IND-enabling pharmacology and toxicology, potency assay development, AAV platform work, and translational planning. His experience also includes work in otology gene therapy (Decibel Therapeutics).

Parvaneh Katoli, MS

Parvaneh brings more than 20 years of experience in ophthalmic drug discovery, including leadership roles at Novartis. Her background includes target identification, translational study design, in vitro and ex vivo evaluation, in vivo model strategy, and multidisciplinary leadership in ocular therapeutics. Her work spans small molecules, biologics, and antibodies, with extensive experience in strategic planning and program execution.
